Let's break this down a bit. . .

🙅🏽‍♀️ Don't advertise to eeeeverybody. You don't want everybody.

Knowing your audience improves your web copy. If you're aware of who they are, what they like, what they do, and where they are in their buyers journey - Writing will be 1000% easier. 🥳

🙅🏽‍♀️ Don't sell on Home or About Us pages. Not everything has to end in a sale!

Learning when and when not to sell is integral to owning a business. People don't go to Home or About Us pages to buy something. They go there to learn. Think of it like dating - getting to know what you're all about is the priority.

🙅🏽‍♀️ Don't use "I", use "we". Yes, even if it's just you.

We is inclusive and aspirational. It helps the reader feel like they're a part of your brand story, and speaks to where you want your business to be vs where it is.

✅ Center your dream client.

You're not the main character of your brand's story, you're the guide. Tell your prospect the ways that you can better their life. Speak to their pain and pleasure points.

✨ Vacations - Take them. Your future self will thank you.

✨ Meal services - Make your life easier if you can. Also they're delicious.

✨ Workout equipment or memberships - Staying active helps your mind, which is where all your fire ideas come from!

✨ Financial planner/advisor - If you can get your own shit in order, good for you! If not, this is a game-changer.

✨ Streaming services - Binge watching is good for the soul.

✨ A good mattress - Say it with us: sleep quality is important!

✨ Coffee or tea - Feel free to substitute with whatever your fave energizing drink is!

✨ Books - We might be a bit biased, but reading does wonders.
